The amp had to have the dynamic response and clarity of my Series 8 (octal pre-amp) models. WebSep 14, 2009 · The only possible negative is that this is a pricey headphone amp, but it is a good value for the money. I would rather give my headphone amp money to a local guy (a very nice guy, and a seriously awesome bass player) than to some faceless corporation. But, maybe that’s because I live in Seattle… Overall: Overall, this is a great product.
