Look where the pilot flame comes out. There will be a hood, and a little flame rod, maybe an inch long. It will difficult for you, but you'll need a 1/4" or 5/16" driver to unscrew the assembly, and gently pull it out without pinching or kinking the pilot tubing. Then clean it with Emery cloth or sand paper, and reinstall it.
