WebbThe way this goes is, when you buy Sims 4 in Steam, you're required to link your Steam account to an Origin account. Steam will then recognize the packs you own in Origin and allow them to load when you launch from Steam. WebbNo. You would need to own the base game on origin to buy packs on origin. They would however automatically transfer to steam because steam runs origin to let you play. It also doesn’t work the other way around, things bought on steam do not show up on origin. Actually i did it anyways just to see if it would work and it did work! WebbI haven't bought an EA games for a year now, not for a lack of budget or desire, but because I consider having been fucked by purchasing games on Origin while my main library is on Steam (~10k games), and now that EA is back on Steam I can transfer the game licence and therefor start purchasing and collecting EA games.
